Summer School in Mexico on Ibero-American Modernities

We're pleased to share the news about a Summer School on Conceptual History in Ibero-American Modernities (17th - 19th centuries).

It will take place at El Colegio de Mexico from July 25 to August 5.

The School is organised by El Colegio de México, Centro de Historia Intelectual (National University of Quilmes, Buenos Aires), UNAM Concepta and Iberconceptos.

The School will be organized into three main fields (60 hours):

1-Introduction to Conceptual History (Cambridge School, Begriffgeschichte, French School)

2-Concepts in Ibero-America Modernity (Iberconceptos project)

3-Dialogues between Conceptual History and current historiographical debates in Latin American (Race, Indian Languages, Atlantic History, History of the Pacific, Global History, pre-hispanic codices and non-written languages, Religion and secularisation). 

Deadline for candidates is March 11, 2016.
